Trump Says Putin 'Competitor' Not 'Enemy'

U.S. President Donald Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin was a "competitor" and neither a friend nor an enemy, in closing remarks at the NATO summit on July 12. Speaking ahead of his first bilateral summit with Putin, he said he could not say what would happen with Crimea -- when asked whether he would accept Russia's annexation of it.
