Best agencies/websites for renting apartment
« on: 15:19 31-Jan-2017 »
I am relocating to Kiev soon and I am looking now for an apartment. Can someone please tell me which agencies/websites are the most trustworthy. I don't want to pay 1000$ for a shackle. So far I have seen that the housing market in Kiev is a bit overpriced. ::)

If you can read Russian, then You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login is the best source, as far as I know.

Works ok with Google Translate too, if you're using Chrome.

Most browsers translate on the fly if set-up to do so or use google translate (making sure that UAH is not erroneously translated as USD!) It also helps to know your Kyiv regions!

Do you speak basic Russian? I can put you in contact with the woman I always used. Her payment is 50% one month but well worth it as she quickly gets the idea of what you are looking for.

Just need to work out what district you want to be in and what the budget will be. She will then Viber or email you different appartments and prices, no time wasting with appartments you find online that do not exist

To hold the panic renting, you can plan to use a daily rent apartment. Something half decent will set you back 500uah/day, for say 20 days your going to spend just under $400 but gives you time to see the appartments and plenty of time to choose.

Hi Darren,
Would appreciate if you could put me in contact with your Realtor , then I can have my wife speak with her in Ukrainian.
I am still going through the hassle of finding an apartment.

Hi sary,

I was in contact with ZorbaTheGreek and I could not find her contact details  ::) I lost my phone last August but I had her business card which I can not find!

My Advice is than on most websites you are going to have the appartments with realtors. Book viewing with 3-4 of them and see which person is the best and work with them. You owe them nothing for a simple appartment viewing as they can only get payment after a rental appartment is agreed

Hey - (link removed by moderator) is a no-broker website. It's pretty new but they've got an ok database already; it's only available in Russian/Ukrainian though so Google Translate may be necessary  :)

Hey, we don't go for free advertising on your first damn post either.....so no Google Translate needed.

In Russia we only had two TV channels. Channel One was propaganda. Channel Two consisted of a KGB officer telling you: Turn back at once to Channel One. Yakov Smirnoff
